Where to stay in Brasília for the 2027 Presidential Inauguration

On 5 January 2027, all of Brazil will be in Brasília. Those who wait will pay dearly — or stay far away. Here's the guide from people who know the city.

Inauguration Caravan · 3–6 January 2027 · 3 nights

Why book now

The presidential inauguration is the event that fills Brasília the most — caravans from every state, political delegations, foreign missions and whole families come to watch the ceremony at the Esplanada dos Ministérios. At previous inaugurations, hotels in the central area doubled or tripled their rates and sold out months in advance.

The New President's Inauguration Caravan package runs from 3 to 6 January 2027: 3 days and 3 nights, with check-in on 3 January and check-out on 6 January. The inauguration takes place on 5 January, during your stay.

The smart alternative: a whole house in Lago Sul

For groups and caravans, a hotel just doesn't add up: dozens of individual rates, no kitchen, no shared living space. The solution that grows with every inauguration is renting a whole house — and Lago Sul is the best neighbourhood for it: safe, quiet, 10 minutes from JK Airport and the Esplanada.

In Villela Stay's houses, the whole group stays together, with a heated pool, barbecue and full kitchen — and the cost is split: R$ 150 per person per day in the 3-night package with the house at full capacity. Less than a basic hotel night during inauguration week.

The Inauguration Caravan package (3 to 6 January 2027) — 3 days

Our 4 houses host 15 to 24 guests each. The 3-night package ranges from R$ 7,650 (Casa Villela, 15 people) to R$ 11,700 (Villa Kubitschek, 24 people) — fixed prices, no surprises. See the bed layouts in Special Packages.

Whole-house prices for 3 nights at full capacity: R$ 150 per person/day × 3 days × number of guests + a R$ 900 cleaning fee, already included in the total.
